We face struggle everyday. Our subconscious thoughts, actions, and desires all could be described as an internal, never-ending struggle.

I read recently however, that this struggle might not be a worth while endeavor — or should I say, that the struggle is actually necessary to grow. If we believe in ourselves that where we are headed is indeed where we would like to end up, the struggle is just part of getting there. The hardest thing to recognize is that if the struggle is necessary, then indeed life is painful.

I say to this, do not be afraid. For what we struggle from, is typically from things that are not in our control. What is in our control should ultimately never give us struggle. That is to say, if we live up to who we truly care to be, there should be no internal source of pain.

If we control our thoughts too, then we control how much pain we experience. This is truly a dilemma I have not yet figure out.
